Letter to the Swedish P.M. Carl Bildt

Dear Mr. Bildt,

According to newly published administrative records of the former Soviet Ministry of State Security (MGB) in Moscow, four Swedish nationals were held under official MGB investigation in 1948*. Three of them faced charges of espionage.

It would be of greatest importance to determine whom exactly MGB officials included in this specific statistic at that time. The information has great significance since it offers an opportunity to pursue a number of very specific questions with Russian authorities that have been given in 2001 by the independent consultants to the Working Group on the Fate of Raoul Wallenberg and have not been answered. -> More
